Last week, the Stuzo staff went to Go Vertical as part of a team building exercise. The point wasn’t so much on the company and the job but rather getting to know each other more and building friendships.
Why is this important?
It builds culture in the workplace, something that Stuzo strongly supports.
The company has 5 values we hold dear:
- Solutions First
- There is a solution to every problem. The answer is always, “We will.” The only question is how.
- Embrace Change
- Change is the only constant. Progress is the only option. We invest in change today.
- Speed Wins
- Speed Wins. Technology moves at breakneck speeds. Winning = Velocity (Starting + Doing + Improving) > Everyone Else
- Details Trump
- Excellence is in the details. From first impression onward, the details ensure we deliver solutions that delight.
- Go Nerds
- Embrace your inner nerd. With our strengths combined, together we’ll make history.
While the purpose of the rock-climbing trip was team building, it was also an opportunity to just have fun. This is a crucial element to company culture. By giving your employees an opportunity to bond in a fun environment, you improve the morale and overall health of your workforce.

As a bonus to going rock climbing, we had the opportunity to experiment with a mobile app we built called MyClimb. It’s the equivalent of other activity apps, such as Runkeeper or Strava, but dedicated to climbers. As a featured case study on our website, MyClimb is a mobile app we are always excited to use in a real-life setting. It allowed us to record our climbs and share them with a community of friends and fellow climbers.
We at Stuzo are proud of the work we produce because we dedicate ourselves from start to completion and beyond with relentless precision and passion. If you’re an enterprise business or startup that wants to take part in this rapidly-growing mobile apps industry, contact us and see what we can do together to create a custom app for your needs.

The staff at Stuzo had a great time rock climbing. Of course, we took photos (over 500!) and even a couple time-lapse videos.
Most of us simply played around and casually attempted a few climbs, but we did have a pro climber amongst us and a competitive “race” between two staff members. Take a look!

We highly recommend doing occasional team building exercises with your staff. They are of great value and can benefit your staff and company productivity. If you ever decide to try rock climbing, download the MyClimb app for iOS or Android first and log your activity to share with your fellow coworkers and friends!
