AutoTrader wanted to enable their fans on Facebook to search for new and used autos without having to leave the Facebook experience. They approached Stuzo to devise a solution loosely based on their existing Search tool on AutoTrader.com, and layering in lightweight social sharing.
Stuzo designed a social user experience that allowed the consumer to quickly and easily find the type of car they were searching for, and share it with friends to get their input on the vehicle. By utilizing a wide array of AutoTrader.com API calls the user can layer search queries and formulate complex, efficient searches. To convert the fan into an inquiry regarding a particular vehicle, by clicking through in the search results, the user is sent to the auto detail view on AutoTrader.com - one click away from conversion.
