During the 2010 Olympics, Procter and Gamble launched the "Thank You Mom" campaign. In true Olympic spirit, Procter and Gamble defrayed the cost of travel for the mothers of 2010 USA Olympic athletes. Commercials ran during the Olympics dedicated to all mothers of athletes. For the social media component of this campaign, Procter and Gamble wanted to unite 11 of their brand Facebook Pages in order to distribute multimedia content across the pages.
A custom solution that lived on and connected 11 brand Pages with real-time aggregation of YouTube and blog content. Throughout the Olympics, users could visit any of the brand pages to watch real-time video content from the brand's YouTube channel and view related syndicated blog content from the web.
Seamless deployment on 11 pages on the opening day of the Olympics. Over the course of the 2010 Olympics, the Facebook campaign received over 350,000 video views, raising awareness for P&G and the recognition of moms everywhere.
