As the 'Proud Sponsor of Moms', P&G will be helping moms of Canadian Olympic athletes with their travel costs so they can be in London with their children as they compete. P&G wanted to build awareness for their Proud Sponsor of Moms program in the Canadian market, wanted an engaging experience to launch with the new P&G Everyday Solutions Canada Facebook Page. The solution for the Canadian market was similar to the experience on the main Proud Sponsor of Moms Facebook Page in that users uploaded meaningful photos to create a video dedication to be sent to their mothers. Here, the experience is streamlined, adds in the concept of 'home' by asking the user to upload a photo of the house in which they grew up, and gives the user more sharing options for increased awareness and to drive traffic to the new Facebook page. While the experience is still new, dozens of video dedications have been created and sent to moms across Canada, and the new P&G Everyday Solutions Canada Facebook Page has grown from 50 fans at launch to over 13,000.
