Challenge

Chapters Indigo approached Stuzo to create a fun and interactive social experience that would integrate an instant win Flash game, Facebook Places, and their Plum Rewards program. The goal was to increase awareness and membership of the rewards program.

Solution

Stuzo designed, developed, and deployed a plinko-style game complete with animation and sound effects. The game is only accessible to Plum Rewards members. By dropping the plum, members can win 10-250 rewards points. Additionally, users could checkin at Chapters and Indigo stores each day using Facebook Places to earn an additional 25 Plum points. To encourage friendly competition, a leaderboard displays user standings and sharing tools allow users to challenge their friends, and one lucky Plum Drop player will win the 250,000 point grand prize!

Results

This addictive game has been played 82,700 times. 285 users have checked-in to earn extra points. A registration form requiring users to Like Chapters Indigo has increased their Facebook fanbase by 7,255 Likes. Each newsfeed post has returned 7 users on average.
