Stuzo wanted to acknowledge their behind-the-scenes heroes who may not always be visible but who both make a definite impact with their creative problem solving and ability to think “outside the box.” They create unique solutions that meet a customer’s new requirements and we would like to award them this quarter for their contribution to Stuzo.
The award for MOST INNOVATIVE goes to……..Josh S. and Daria O.!
I had a chance to interview these two amazing co-workers:
Josh, what is your role at Stuzo? “I’m fortunate to wear several hats and be involved with many aspects of the business at Stuzo. I’m a Solutions Engineer so I provide technical estimation, research & development, solutions architecture, and technical management and support. I also serve as the Product Manager for our upcoming native product and as a Project Manager for our services arm, providing bespoke custom development and customer service. As a bonus, I also do research, analysis, and writing for both our clients and for internal resources such as this blog.”
Tell me about some websites, magazines or blogs you’re following that you recommend. “These days I’m very interested in wearables such as the Pebble watch and the (eventual) Apple iWatch, as well as the Bluetooth Low Energy technology that’s going to change the world in the form of beacons. I try and follow everything in the mobile sphere, particularly in the constantly changing world of mobile marketing, content, and engagement. Finally, when I’m looking for a change of pace it’s all about the awesome Philly food scene.”
What’s the best part about working at Stuzo? ”The best part of working at Stuzo is getting to spend every day with such an intelligent, hard working, and enjoyable team. I know that no matter who I’m working with, they are dedicated to building robust experiences for our customers. Not only do we all work well together, but we all enjoy working together.”
Daria, can you tell me about your role here at Stuzo?As a Quality Assurance Engineer, I test various apps and projects developed by our team, and take part in the improvement of our internal processes. I often find myself acting as a bridge between the Project Managers and Developers.
Tell us about any trends, blogs, articles or websites you are reading that relate to working here at Stuzo and in this line of work. “I recommend insidefacebook.com, allfacebook.com, qaforums.com. I also follow the different updates in Facebook or IT sphere…basically, a lot of QA stuff. I pay more attention to any information related to mobile testing, because now with every new application we have more and more mobile users. And, of course, I also look out for all news and updates related to those services we use in our projects such as Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Foursquare, Google+”
So what’s you’re favorite part of work at Stuzo?Hmmm… Maybe, awards like this! =). The most pleasant feeling is when the application development and testing goes smoothly and our clients are satisfied. This is a result of great work by the entire team. I, myself, feel confident with my coworkers working along side of me because I know that there’s no issue they can’t handle.
