Stuzo’s CEO, Gunter Pfau, gave a presentation to a captivated audience where he revealed a sneak peak into Stuzo’s Suburban Convenience & Energy store-of-the-future concept.
“You should be building your business as a software business,” said Pfau. “Treat your mobile apps as a digital storefront. Launch new business models. Disrupt yourself before you get disrupted.”
In his presentation, Pfau explained that Stuzo is seeking joint partnerships with retailers to realize this store-of-the-future concept, prioritizing software-driven retail and the idea of convenience-as-a-service. Stuzo also aims to work with retailers to help them launch apps, point-of-sale systems and other software-based tools to streamline their business.
“We’re outsiders coming in with a very different perspective of your industry,” Pfau said.
Stuzo’s store-of-the-future concepts are part of its Future Vision Insights Platform. In 2017, in partnership with Bank of America Merchant Services, Stuzo launched its first Future Vision concept entitled Urban Convenience 2025 (read more).
