We introduced the world of social solution development to the concept of reusable components years ago, and now we’re profiling some of the most popular components on the Stuzo technology platform in a new weekly series. For more background on the Stuzo social technology platform and our reusable components, check out Stuzo Social: Reusable Components on our Insights Blog.
The below Stuzo Social Components are built specifically to help streamline the process of uploading content into or within a social experience, across platforms and devices.
Upload from Facebook Component
This reusable component is widely used for contest and sweepstakes where user- generated content is required for submission, but it can be used in virtually any other scenario, both inside and outside of Facebook (on a custom social microsite or mobile app, for example).
The Upload from Facebook Component enables users to instantly upload a photo or video file from their Facebook account and submit it into the experience, contest, sweepstakes, etc. Seamlessly, the user can navigate through their Facebook photo albums and videos, select, and submit, with the ability to then intuitively share the content with friends across social platforms.
Registration Component
The Campaign Registration Component enables any experience to capture user data, which can then be used to select finalists and winners, can be imported or integrated into a sCRM system, or can be used for later digital marketing outreach.
When a user interacts or engages with your campaign, youʼll need to capture information about them to integrate into your marketing efforts. Stuzo solutions can leverage the Social Authentication Component to capture basic data, but beyond what is available within existing account information, the Campaign Registration Component can capture additional data points and even opt the user into marketing communications, like a newsletter or deal alerts (either automatically or manually).
Device Cam Component
With the Device Cam Component, a user can activate their device camera – be it on their phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop – and take a real-time photo or video to be used as a submission within the experience or campaign.
Many experiences that require the user to upload a photo or video of themselves will make good use of the Device Cam Component, as one taken on-the-spot is easier for the user to upload than one where they need to search, locate, select, and upload from their computer or device.
The Device Cam Component can be customized nearly infinitely on the front-end, and it can allow for face positioning frames and indicators, so that the user gets their photo or video exactly as they want it to appear within the experience on the first take.
